usb controllers are in device manager. right click windows icon. choose device manager. scroll down to folder "universal serial bus controllers" If you do see 3.0 controller then right click on folder . choose "scan for hardware changes"

After Windows 10 was installed I noticed that the mouse and some keyboard functions did not work. Furthermore, any USB device plugged into the PC did not work. After some looking around I noticed that the Universal Serial Bus Controller was missing from Device Manager. I don't know how to solve this. Thank you in advance for answering.
The troubleshooter gives as a problem the message I cited above, that the Universal Serial Bus Controller doesn't have a driver. In short, the computer does not recognize anything plugged into the USB drives, so I can't print or access external hard drives or use a mouse.
