Delivered as #8 in 1924 to Bloedel Donovan Lumber Mills in Alger & Saxon Camp, WA, it is the sole surviving locomotive of its type with square tanks. In 1945, Bloedel Donovan was bought by Rayonier Inc., and #8 was moved to Clallam near Sekiu, WA. It was retired in 1964, at which time it was the last active steam locomotive on the Clallam line.

Chesapeake & Ohio Railway No. 1308 is an preserved articulated 2-6-6-2 "Mallet" type steam locomotive built by Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1949. It was the next to the last Class 1 mainline locomotive built by Baldwin, closing out more than 100 years of production, a total of more than 70,000 locomotives.
