The Road Transport Department (Malay: Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan, abbreviated JPJ; Jawi: جابتن ڤڠڠكوتن جالن ), is a government department under the Malaysian Ministry of Transport. This department is responsible for registration of vehicles in Malaysia and issuing driving licence & vehicle number plates .
The expressway has a total length of 44.3 km (27.5 mi), passing through Semenyih, Pajam, Mantin, Temiang and connecting to the Seremban Inner Ring Road.It serves as a form of traffic dispersal for other highly congested expressways, such as the North–South Expressway Southern Route and the Kuala Lumpur–Seremban Expressway.
