Fremont is located four miles east of the interchange between Interstate 69 and the Indiana Toll Road (Interstate 80/90) on State Road 120.. According to the 2010 census, Fremont has a total area of 2.22 square miles (5.75 km 2), of which 2.21 square miles (5.72 km 2) (or 99.55%) is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 km 2) (or 0.45%) is water.
Fremont Township is one of twelve townships in Steuben County, Indiana, United States. As of the 2020 census, its population was 2,851, down from 2,993 at the 2010 census, [ 4 ] and it contained 1,211 housing units.
Fountain County lies in the western part of the U.S. state of Indiana on the east side of the Wabash River. The county was officially established in 1826 and was the 53rd in Indiana. The county seat is Covington. [2] According to the 2020 United States Census, its population was 16,479. [3]
