Bini (stylized in all caps; formerly Star Hunt Academy Girls or SHA Girls) is a Filipino girl group formed in 2019 through ABS-CBN's Star Hunt Academy (SHA).The group is composed of eight members: Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena.
In 2023, Aiah was cast in the music video of the song "Bini" by Jeremy G. [15] She also co-sang in the remixed version of the same song released in 2024. [14] In January 2024, Aiah appeared along with Bini members Stacey and Mikha as guest judges on the second season of Drag Den, a drag reality show hosted by Manila Luzon.
Jhoanna Christine Burgos Robles was born on January 26, 2004 [2] in Calamba, Laguna, Philippines.She is the only child of her parents. [3] She served as a majorette in her school's marching band and competed in campus journalism competitions in high school as part of her initial plans to become a broadcast journalist.
The members began their career in 2020 with the release of the group's pre-debut single, a cover of Ryan Cayabyab's song "Da Coconut Nut". [2] Bini gained wider recognition with the release of " Born to Win " in 2021, [ 3 ] which was nominated for Wish Pop Song of the Year at the Wish Music Awards .
On October 10, 2020, Maloi was one of the last eight trainees to graduate and was officially announced as a member of an idol group. [10] In November 2020, Maloi officially became a member of the Filipino girl group Bini, [11] which officially debuted on June 11, 2021. [12]
