Willow Creek Winery is a winery in West Cape May in Cape May County, New Jersey. [ 2 ] [ 3 ] Formerly a produce farm, the vineyard was first planted in 2005, and opened to the public in 2012. [ 4 ] [ 5 ] Willow Creek has 40 acres of grapes under cultivation, and produces 6,000 cases of wine per year.
The Willow Creek AVA is an American Viticultural Area located in the Humboldt and Trinity counties of northern California, near the town of Willow Creek.Surrounded by the Klamath Mountains, the AVA includes 6,000 acres (2,428 ha) in the center of the Six Rivers National Forest, and has had as many as five wineries and 30 acres (12 ha) in wine grape production.
The association sponsors multiple wine festivals each year. [ 1 ] [ 2 ] Vintage North Jersey, a subsidiary of the Garden State Wine Growers Association, was founded in 2013. Vintage North Jersey includes ten wineries in northwestern New Jersey, and received a $16,000 tourism grant from the state of New Jersey.

The vineyard was first planted in 1992, and opened to the public in 1995. [8] [9] Cape May Winery is one of the larger winegrowers in New Jersey, having 25 acres of grapes under cultivation, and producing 11,000 cases of wine per year. [10] [11] The winery is named for the region where it is located. [12] [13]
It is the same variety as the original vines brought from Spain and still produces fruit. However, there are no records of a vineyard or winemaking in San Luis Obispo prior to 1820s when over one hundred barrels of wine a year are recorded for Mission San Luis Obispo. Its vineyard became the mission system's largest after the Mission San Gabriel.
