The Kolkata Armed Police (KAP) are West Bengal's state armed police force for operations in Kolkata. The KAP is part of the KPF and consists of nine battalions and three special units. The special units are the RAF , the Special Action Force (SAF, approx. 160 members), the Commando Force (approximately 200 members) and the Combat Force.
