Towards the end of the Progressive era of the early 20 th century in Cleveland, the Cuyahoga County Bar Association (CCBA) was incorporated on January 10, 1928. It was first founded as the Cleveland Law Association by a group of 64 dissatisfied members of the Cleveland Bar Association (CBA) in 1927, who elected Max P. Goodman as president.
