I've gotten use to the light weight and dont really have any problems with it. The only thing i find is there is the odd air bubble in it and only noticable when cutting it.

    In the sixties and seventies there were no screws. And to this day the 3/8 drywall on those homes holds up fine. But whats changed? plantation grown lumber. More shrinkage and unstable lumber. with rosin coated nails they can lose their grip and push out. Myself I use collated screws and about half the time use glue. three twelves to a quart.

I can't see any reason why they have done this. Some rooms have it and some don't. Really causes hassle as no standard pre hung doors fit.

Typical drying time for veneer plaster is 2 to 3 days and usually can be safely painted within 4 to 6 days with a latex paint.

Product carries it on the side of vehicle like glass. Seems like a solid product and looking for input. Hate to admit it but jealous of you guys.

Problem is the studwork, if you hit a knot or just a little harder board those nails would sit proud and it'll be counter productive.
