Leonid Eduardovich Slutsky [a] (/ ˈ s l uː t s k i / SLOOT-ski; Russian: Леонид Эдуардович Слуцкий; born 4 January 1968) is a Russian politician who leads the right-wing and nationalist Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR) since 2022, and has served as a deputy of the State Duma since 1999.

Vladimir Zhirinovsky died on 6 April 2022. Since the founding of the party in 1989, its permanent leader was Vladimir Zhirinovsky.
