Primrose Valley is a locality in the Queanbeyan–Palerang Regional Council area, New South Wales, Australia. It is located on the road from Queanbeyan to Captains Flat about 33 km southeast of Queanbeyan and 25 km north of Captains Flat. [2] [3] At the 2016 census, it had a population of 146. [1]
Primrose Valley is a coastal village south of Filey, North Yorkshire, England. It was historically part of the East Riding of Yorkshire until 1974 and then part of the Borough of Scarborough from 1974 until 2023.
Some of the Queanbeyan district's most successful rural stations specifically 'Gidleigh', 'Foxlow', 'Carwoola' and 'Primrose Valley' were located on the Molonglo flood plain. 'Foxlow' was established by HC Antill who relinquished the grant to John Hoskings after whom the village of Hoskinstown is named.

The site has been managed by coppicing for over 400 years. [3] [4] The ancient woodland is on acid silts and sands. Trees include, ash, lime birch and pedunculated oak. The ground layer is dominated by bramble, and other plants include primrose and wood anemone. The wood is divided by grassy rides, and there are over twenty ponds. [1]

[2] [3] At the 2016 census, it had a population of 144.[1]Mulloon lies generally to the south of the Kings Highway between Bungendore and Braidwood on both sides of Mulloon Creek, a tributary of Reedy Creek, which flows into the Shoalhaven River.
