Maranatha (Aramaic: מרנאתא ) is an Aramaic phrase which occurs once in the New Testament (1 Corinthians 16:22).It also appears in Didache 10:14. Fortunatus was a disciple from Corinth, of Roman birth or origin, as his name indicates, who visited Paul at Ephesus, most probably with contributions; [1] and returned, along with Stephanus and Achaicus, in charge of that apostle's first Epistle to the Corinthian Church.
Saint Achaicus of Corinth (Ancient Greek: Ἀχαϊκός Achaikos, "belonging to Achaia") [1] was a Corinthian Christian saint who according to the Bible, together with Saints Fortunatus and Stephanas, carried a letter from the Corinthians to Saint Paul, and from Saint Paul to the Corinthians (1 Corinthians 16:17; cf. also 16:15).

Robert Estienne (Robert Stephanus) was the first to number the verses within each chapter, his verse numbers entering printed editions in 1551 (New Testament) and 1553 (Hebrew Bible). [24] Several modern publications of the Bible have eliminated numbering of chapters and verses. Biblica published such a version of the NIV in 2007 and 2011.
