Bishop Francis Kenrick dedicated the St. Mary's Church in Pleasant Mills on August 15, 1830, the fourth Catholic church in New Jersey and the first in the present-day Diocese of Camden. The first parish and school were established at St. Mary's, Gloucester in 1849 and 1859, respectively.
Resurrection Regional Catholic Schools (Cherry Hill) - It formed in 2008 from the merger of two Cherry Hill schools: Queen of Heaven and St. Peter Celestine. [6] The St. Peter Celestine site was used. [7] In addition to Cherry Hill, residents of Haddonfield, Maple Shade, Moorestown, Mount Laurel, and Pennsauken attend the school. [8]
The congregation acquired 9 acres (3.6 ha) of land on the east side of Cherry Hill (at the intersection of Springdale and Kresson Roads) in 1989, and began construction of a new synagogue building there. [1] In 1992, the congregation moved to the new facilities, across from the Katz Jewish Community Center (which later opened in 1997).

The parish was started by a group of Polish immigrants in 1891 and incorporated the following year on October 24. [2] The parish rented a building on Broadway to use as a church. Land was bought at Tenth and Liberty Streets and a combination church and school was completed in 1895.
St. Joseph Pro-Cathedral is a Catholic parish located on the east side of Camden, New Jersey, United States. It serves as the pro-cathedral of the Diocese of Camden. It is one of two parishes in the city of Camden to be named St. Joseph. The other one is St. Joseph Polish Catholic Church, which was established in 1891. [1]
