Star Wars Rebels is an American 3D animated science fiction television series produced by Lucasfilm Animation and set in the Star Wars universe. It takes place 14 years after Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith (2005) and progresses toward the events of the original Star Wars film (1977).
Nine television series make up the Star Wars animated franchise: Droids, Ewoks, The Clone Wars, Rebels, Resistance, The Bad Batch, Visions, Tales, and Young Jedi Adventures. All series in total amount to 389 episodes across 24 seasons of television.
"Twin Suns" was written and directed by Star Wars Rebels creator Dave Filoni, and co-written by series co-executive producer Henry Gilroy.
