The Namma Metro (English: Our metro), also known as Bangalore Metro, is the rapid transit system serving the city of Bangalore in India. [1] Out of the operational 68 metro stations of Namma Metro as of November 2024, there are 59 elevated stations, eight underground stations and one at-grade station.
The BMRCL charges ₹ 50,000 (US$590) for shooting inside a metro station, and ₹ 40,000 (US$470) for shoots inside a metro train during peak hours between 6 am to 10 pm. During non-peak hours, from 10 pm to 4 am, the agency charges ₹ 50,000 (US$590) for shoots inside metro stations and ₹ 20,000 (US$230) inside a train.
The 18.82 km (11.69 mi)-long line connects R.V. Road with Bommasandra, and is fully elevated with 16 stations. [1] R.V. Road station is the terminal station within the city, with an interchange with the Green Line. Jayadeva Hospital station will serve as another elevated interchange station with the Pink Line, which is under construction. [2]

A foot overbridge connecting the metro station with platform 10 of the Bangalore City railway station was opened on 18 February 2019. The BMRC reported that monthly ridership at the metro station was 175,000 passengers per day prior to opening the bridge, and increased to 250,000 two months after its opening.
The Purple Line is a part of the Namma Metro rail system for the city of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. [1] As of 2023, the line is 43.49 km (27.02 mi) long and spans 37 stations from Challaghatta in the southwest to Whitefield (Kadugodi) to the east. [2]
The 21.25 km (13.20 mi) line connects Kalena Agrahara station (previously named Gottigere) on Bannerghatta Road in the south with Nagawara station on Outer Ring Road in the north. The Pink Line is mostly underground (13.92 km (8.65 mi)) but also has a 6.98 km (4.34 mi) elevated section and a 0.48 km (0.30 mi) at-grade (surface) section.
