Shehzad Ahmed [1] (Urdu: شہزاد احمد 16 April 1932 – 2 August 2012; sometimes spelled Shahzad Ahmad), was a Pakistani Urdu poet, writer and director of Majlis-e-Taraqqi-e-Adab, an old-book library of Pakistan. Shehzad's poetry collection comprises about thirty books and several other publications on psychology.

Mirza Muhammad Hadi Ruswa (1857 – 21 October 1931) was an Indian Urdu poet and writer of fiction, plays, and treatises (mainly on religion, philosophy, and astronomy). He served on the Nawab of Awadh's advisory board on language matters for many years. He spoke many languages including Urdu, Greek, and English.
His initial poetry was romantic in nature. At the age of 17, he published his first collection of poetry Zangeerein (1949), followed by Roshni (1950), Shehr-e-Azar (City of Idol Worshippers; 1958), Mauj Meri Sadaf Sadaf (1960), Garebaan (1964), Qaba-e-Saaz (1967) and Koh-e-Nida (1971, published posthumously).
During that period, he felt that there were limitations in Urdu poetry. He absorbed the essence of Mir and Ghalib to express what he intended. He was fascinated by the lyrical mood of Meera and Kabir and widened his knowledge of poetry by studying T. S. Eliot, Gogol and Anton Chekhov. [8] Nida Fazli.
