Elmhurst and Wheaton withdrew following the 1959–60 academic year. Wheaton re-joined for all sports but football in 1967 (and for football in 1970). Elmhurst re-joined in the fall of 1967 for all sports but football (and for football in 1968). Carroll joined during the 1955 spring sports season (1954-55 academic season).
Budde received third-team honors on the 1961 Little All-America college football team. [4] Hill was the only Carroll players named to the 1961 Wisconsin collegiate all-state team; Hill was named to the second team as a halfback. [5] The team played its home games at Haertel Field in Waukesha.

He is an assistant athletic director at Carroll University in Waukesha, Wisconsin, a position he has held since November 2019. Krzykowski served as the head football coach at Carroll from 2011 to 2019.
Ross Merle Masonholder (December 16, 1943 – March 26, 2018) was an American football and wrestling coach. [1] He served as the head football coach at Carroll College—now known as Carroll University—in Waukesha, Wisconsin from 1982 to 2000 and Central Methodist University in Fayette, Missouri from 2001 to 2007, compiling a career college football coaching record of 108–142.
