The northern terminus is the New York state line in Sayre , where it connects to New York State Route 34 (NY 34) and an interchange with Interstate 86 (I-86).
The United States Office of Management and Budget [11] has designated Bradford County as the Sayre, PA Micropolitan Statistical Area (μSA). [12] As of the 2010 U.S. Census [ 13 ] the micropolitan area ranked 8th most populous in the State of Pennsylvania and the 131st most populous in the United States with a population of 62,622.

Athens is a borough in Bradford County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is part of Northeastern Pennsylvania and is located 2 miles (3 km) south of the New York state line on the Susquehanna and Chemung rivers. The population was 3,749 in 1900 and 3,796 in 1910. The population was 3,265 at the 2020 census. [4]
