Patchogue-Medford Public Schools is a public school district on Long Island, New York, that covers approximately 16.0 square miles (41 km 2) in the southern part of the Town of Brookhaven in Suffolk County.
Patchogue-Medford High School (colloquially Pat-Med or Buffalo Avenue High School) is a public high school in Medford, Brookhaven, New York, which is located in Suffolk County on Long Island, in the United States. The school is part of Patchogue-Medford School District.
The school served students from grades 9–12. [1] [2] During the 1970s, Patchogue-Medford U.F.S.D reorganized grade levels, and closed two schools in effect of the reorganization. They cut PHS and Oregon Avenue Junior High School, leaving the school district with Saxton Middle School and Oregon Middle School.
