Laurel Heights is a neighborhood of San Francisco, California. [1] It is located to the south of the Presidio of San Francisco and east of the Richmond District . It is bordered by Geary Boulevard and the University of San Francisco campus to the south, Arguello Boulevard to the west, California Street to the north and Presidio Avenue to the east.
California Street begins at the intersection of Market Street, Main Street, and Drumm Street in front of the Hyatt Regency Embarcadero Center, one block from the Ferry Building, then travels through Chinatown, over Nob Hill, through Lower Pacific Heights, Laurel Heights, and the Lake District.
It is bordered by Pacific Avenue and the Presidio parklands to the north, Arguello Boulevard and the Richmond District to the west, California Street (Laurel Village shopping center, previously the Laurel Hills Cemetery) and Laurel Heights to the south, and Presidio Avenue and Pacific Heights to the east.
