Prince Abubakar Audu University (formerly known as Kogi State University), located at Anyigba, is a state-owned university of Kogi, Nigeria. It was established in 1999 by Prince Abubakar Audu , a former governor of the state. [ 1 ]
On 19 August 2020, the Kogi State Assembly passed a bill to establish another institution in the state alongside the existing ones. [3] In 2024, the NUC approved Medicine, Law, and other core courses to be taught at the school. In February 2024, Anatomy, Physiology, and other medical-related courses were also approved.
