New Town (a.k.a. Rajarhat New Town) is a planned Satellite city of Kolkata in the Indian state of West Bengal. It is administered by NKDA (New Town Kolkata Development Authority). [ 4 ] New Town is declared as a "Solar City" and " Smart Green City " by Government of India .
