Captain's Curse was a monster truck created by Monster Jam and FELD Motorsports, and competed in the Monster Jam series from 2007 through 2016. Captain's Curse was first seen in 2007 driven by Pablo Huffaker at Monster Jam World Finals 8. Alex Blackwell then drove the truck for the next five years until moving to Wolverine in 2012.

He has won 14 Monster Jam World Finals championships during his career (six in racing, six in freestyle, two in 2-wheel skills challenge). Tom is often referred to as the professor, and the GOAT of monster trucks.

In 1985, USHRA held their first monster truck racing event, The Battle of the Monster Trucks, at the Louisiana Superdome. Up to this point, monster trucks had only performed freestyle exhibitions, and although for several years exhibitions would be a part of smaller arena shows, racing became used in all events by the early 1990s.
