Hueytown is a city in western Jefferson County, Alabama, United States. It is part of the Birmingham metropolitan area, and was part of the heavy industry development in this area in the 20th century. The population was 16,776 at the 2020 census. [4] Hueytown was the home of the Alabama Gang, famous in NASCAR stock car racing.
