Emily Brown (born December 30, 1998) is an American ice hockey defender for the Boston Fleet of the Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL). [1] Brown played college ice hockey for the Minnesota Golden Gophers women's ice hockey program, serving as co-captain for two seasons and captain for one season.
They represented the University of Minnesota in WCHA women's ice hockey during the 2020–21 NCAA Division I women's ice hockey season. They were coached by Brad Frost in his 14th season. The Golden Gophers did not qualify for the NCAA tournament for the first time since 2007, snapping its streak of 12 consecutive tournament appearances.

After graduating, Fleming played her rookie professional ice hockey season with the Minnesota Whitecaps of the PHF during the 2022–23 season. [5] She re-signed with the team for the 2023–24 PHF season in May 2023 but her contract was voided when the league was bought out and dissolved in June 2023.
