The Noble and Greenough School, commonly known as Nobles, is a coeducational, nonsectarian day and five-day boarding school in Dedham, Massachusetts, a suburb of Boston. It educates 638 boys and girls in grades 7–12. The school's 187-acre (0.76 km 2) campus borders the Charles River. [2]

Royal Little (March 1, 1896 – January 10, 1989) was an American founder and chair of Textron, and is considered to be the father of conglomerates. [citation needed]Little graduated from Noble & Greenough School in 1915 and from Harvard University in 1919, despite having been on academic probation.
Noble and Greenough was founded in 1866 by George Washington Copp Noble, in Boston, Massachusetts, as an all-boys preparatory school for Harvard University. It became known as Noble & Greenough in 1892. In 1922, the school moved from Boston to its current location in Dedham. The property had previously been the estate of Albert W. Nickerson.
He attended Noble and Greenough School, Harvard College (A.B. 1908), and Harvard Law School (LL.B. 1911). [1] While at Harvard, Richardson was captain of the Harvard crew and was elected to the Harvard Varsity Club's Hall of Fame. Shattuck was born in Boston, Massachusetts in 1954. He attended the Noble and Greenough School in Dedham, Massachusetts. [7] Shattuck received a Bachelor of Arts from Williams College in 1976 and an MBA from Stanford University in 1980. Shattuck graduated as an Arjay Miller Scholar from Stanford Graduate School of Business. [8] [7] [9]
Shattuck was born in Brookline, Massachusetts, and graduated from Noble and Greenough School in 1897. He then went onto Harvard, from which he graduated with his bachelor's degree in 1901 and his law degree in 1904. He then worked for the law firm Ropes, Gray & Gorham, which made him partner in 1909.
