With the increase in size of the fleet, the MV Western Belle was surplus to requirements and she was sold to Chris Cruises of Hampton Court on the River Thames, where she was used for charters. [1] In 2008, she was sold to Ullswater 'Steamers' and laid up at Maryport in Cumbria.
The former vessel was unsuitable for the route; however, the latter appears to have been quite successful, although there were complaints about the use of a Plymouth vessel, when suitable vessels were available from Dartmouth, so the MV Western Belle was replaced by the River Dart Steamboat Co Ltd's MV Seymour Castle.

East Harbor is a tidal estuary in Truro, Massachusetts that was originally a natural harbor until it was cut off from Cape Cod Bay to form a salt marsh lagoon, later renamed Pilgrim Lake. It is now within the Cape Cod National Seashore .
