Chris Farlowe (born John Henry Deighton, 13 October 1940) [1] is an English rock, blues and soul singer. He is best known for his hit single " Out of Time " written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards , which rose to No. 1 in the UK Singles Chart in 1966, [ 2 ] and his association with bands Atomic Rooster , the Thunderbirds and Colosseum .
Chris Farlowe took over from French in early 1972, [7] first contributing to the album Made in England. [8] Bolton had left the group by the end of the year, with Johnny Mandala taking his place for the 1973 release Nice 'n' Greasy . [ 9 ]
During the 1960s, bassist Bruce "Bugs" Waddell was a member of The Thunderbirds, Chris Farlowe's backing band (along with Dave Greenslade and Carl Palmer). [6] [7] He was involved in Farlowe's career as early as 1965, when Farlowe recorded "Stormy Monday Blues" under the name Little Joe Cook.

One was on June 18, 2000 at the Gastroblues Festival Paks , in Hungary , and other was on October 8, 2004 at the Charlys Musikkneipe, in Oldenburg .

Originally written for a Play for Today in 1974, Greenslade later added lyrics and it was recorded by Chris Farlowe and was used for the last series in 1978. It was included on the CD re-issue of Greenslade's solo Cactus Choir album.
