The Fletcher Hills are a low mountain range in the Peninsular Ranges, in southwestern San Diego County, California. The Plank Road was the final link in the main highway to San Diego. The association agreed to make San Diego the Dixie Overland Highway's western terminus in 1919 and elected Fletcher as the association's president.
