The 2011 NCAA Division I baseball tournament began on Friday, June 3, 2011 as part of the 2011 NCAA Division I baseball season. The 64 team double elimination tournament concluded with the 2011 College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska, on June 29, 2011. The 64 NCAA Division I college baseball teams were selected out of an eligible 300 teams. [1]
The College World Series consisted of the eight remaining teams in the NCAA tournament. Although it was held in its annual location of Omaha, Nebraska, it was played at the newly constructed TD Ameritrade Park for the first time. It concluded on June 29, 2011, with the final game of the best of three championship series.
The team played their home games in Evans Diamond. They entered the 2011 season after making the postseason two of the last three years and with a 31–20 record, the Golden Bears won an at-large berth (therefore making the postseason three of the past four years) for the 2011 NCAA Division I baseball tournament, and were seeded #3 in the Houston.

The 2011 Texas A&M Aggies baseball team represented Texas A&M University in the 2011 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Aggies played their home games at Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park. The team was coached by Rob Childress in his 6th season at Texas A&M. The Aggies reached the College World Series, but were eliminated by California.
