Performance: Rockin' the Fillmore is the 1971 live double-LP/single-CD by the English blues-rock group Humble Pie, recorded at the Fillmore East in New York City on May 28–29, 1971. It reached No. 21 on the Billboard 200 , #32 in Canada, [ 5 ] and entered the UK Top 40.
Also in 1971, Humble Pie released their most successful album to date, Rock On, as well as a live album recorded at the Fillmore East in New York entitled Performance: Rockin' the Fillmore. The live album reached No. 21 on the US Billboard 200 and was certified gold by the RIAA.
The promotional Back on Track tour of UK and then Germany with Company of Snakes followed and the response to the live shows was encouraging, but Greg Ridley fell ill late in 2002 [3] and the band split up. Back on Track was another example of a Humble Pie album whose sales were limited by the curtailment of tour schedules due to illness. [4]

As Safe as Yesterday Is is the debut studio album by English rock band Humble Pie, released in August 1969. The band had been formed by singer/guitarists Steve Marriott and Peter Frampton. The album features a blend of heavy blues, crushing rock, pastoral folk, and post-mod pop music. It peaked at number 32 in the UK Albums Chart. [5] [6]
It was Frampton's favourite album with Humble Pie, but he was becoming unhappy with continuing in the band. [3] In the latter part of the year, after their live album Performance Rockin' the Fillmore was mixed, and shortly before it was released, he left the band [ 3 ] to pursue a solo career, and take his music in a more acoustic direction.
King Biscuit Flower Hour Presents in Concert is a live solo album by John Entwistle, who was the bassist for English rock band the Who.The album was recorded live for broadcast on the King Biscuit Flower Hour at the Spectrum in Philadelphia in March 1975, during a tour of North America, opening for Humble Pie.
