James G. Walton (November 9, 1917 – January 13, 1947), also known as the Rev. Lord James G. Walton and as Elder James Walton, [1] was a black American pentecostal spiritual denominational leader, minister, missionary, church organizer, and writer who assisted Prophet Jones in the development of Church of Universal Triumph, Dominion of God, Inc. from 1938 until his death in 1947.
The Dominion was organized and founded in Detroit, Michigan in 1944 by a former Pastor & missionary for Triumph the Church and Kingdom of God in Christ, James F. Jones. [1] [2] Jones, known as "Prophet Jones", claimed to be a faith healing minister, and ran a fundamentalist Christian, radio and television ministry.
Jones was born in 1941. He graduated from Wayne State University in 1965 with a degree in art education. From 1975 to 1982, he was the senior minister in the Zion Congregational Church of God in Christ, the second oldest Pentecostal church in Detroit, Michigan, and from 1982 to 2000 he was the senior minister in Maranatha Christian Church, an Evangelical Charismatic church in Detroit.

Ralph James Joseph Boyd was a native of Alabama. He was mentored by Right Reverend James F. Prophet Jones. During the 1940s Rev. Boyd migrated to Detroit with his mentor Prophet Jones. After serving under Prophet Jones, Rev Boyd went on to found Universal Liberty In Christ Truth Kingdom, Inc. in Detroit, Michigan, on August 6, 1946. [1]
