Downtown Disney (officially the Downtown Disney District) is a lifestyle center located at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California, United States.It opened on January 12, 2001; [1] a component of the Disneyland Resort expansion project alongside the Disney California Adventure theme park and Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa.
Orland is a city in Glenn County, California. The population as of the 2020 census was 8,298. [5] The population was 7,291 at the 2010 census, up from 6,281 at the 2000 census, making Orland the most populous and fastest growing city in Glenn County. Orland is located 16 miles (26 km) north of Willows, [6] at an elevation of 259 feet (79 m). [3]
The hotel opened on January 2, 2001, as a part of the parks expansion for Disneyland Resort. On September 18, 2007, the Disneyland Resort announced an expansion of Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa that would increase accommodations by more than 30 percent and include the first Disney Vacation Club villas in Anaheim.
(The term "attractions" is used by Disney as a catch-all term for rides, shows, and exhibits.) Disney California Adventure currently has 34 attractions in the theme park. Disney California Adventure began a major US$1.2 billion renovation in 2008 that ended in 2012. Virtually every aspect of the park had some type of work done to it.
Originally known as the Main Street Electrical Parade, this parade ran at Disneyland from 1972 to 1996 and at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom from 1999 to 2001.
