Gordon Clark Richardson (born July 19, 1939) is an American former professional baseball player, a left-handed pitcher who played in the major leagues from 1964–66 for the St. Louis Cardinals and New York Mets. He stood 6 feet (1.8 m) tall and weighed 185 pounds (84 kg) as an active player.

Richardson attended Jensen Beach High School in Jensen Beach, Florida. [1] [2] He committed to play college baseball at the University of Florida. [3] As a senior in 2018, he went 7–0 with a 0.58 ERA and ninety strikeouts over 48 innings alongside batting .369, and was named the Treasure Coast Newspapers Player of the Year. [4]

Norval Eugene Richardson (January 26, 1928 – August 1, 1997) was an American Negro league pitcher in the 1940s and 1950s. A native of San Diego, California , Richardson attended San Diego High School , [ 1 ] and made his Negro leagues debut in 1947 for the Kansas City Monarchs .
