Pasjača Beach ['pʌsɪ̯ʌʧʌ] is a small, hidden sand and gravel beach in Konavle region, southern Croatia. [1] It is situated below the Konavle cliffs where it meets the Adriatic Sea forming a narrow sandy-gravelly coastal strip of unique and wonderful beauty.
The original city was founded by the Greeks settlers from Corinth [5] in the 6th century BC under the name of Epidaurus (or Epidauros, Greek: Ἐπίδαυρος). [6] [7] The surrounding area was inhabited by the Illyrians, who called the city Zaptal. [8] The town changed its name to Epidaurum when it came under Roman rule in 228 BC.
