The Wilson Packing Plant was a division of the Wilson and Company meatpacking company located near South 27th and Y Streets in South Omaha, Nebraska. Founded in the 1890s, it closed in 1976. [1] It occupied the area bounded by Washington Street, South 27th Street, W Street and South 30th Street.

After a downturn in the market and changes in the livestock industry, the Union Stock Yards Company of Omaha lost value through the 1960s. In 1973 the Union Stock Yards Company of Omaha was sold to the Canal Capital Corporation of New York. In 1999 the Union Stockyards were closed by the City of Omaha, and replaced with a business park.
