Karma Akabane (赤羽 業 （ カルマ ）, Akabane Karuma) is one of Nagisa's closest friends and considered to be the strongest and smartest among the Class 3-E students. He is the first one to be able to inflict injuries on Koro-sensei during their first meeting.
Karma Akabane transfers into Class 3-E following a suspension, managing to inflict some damage to Koro-sensei by giving a handshake with knife shards cleverly taped to his hand. The second and final season of the Assassination Classroom anime television series is adapted from Yūsei Matsui's manga series of the same name. Produced by Lerche and directed by Seiji Kishi, the second season aired between January 7, 2016 and June 30, 2016 and was simulcast by Funimation, who began releasing the broadcast dub version from February 10, 2016.
