Predator 2 is a 1990 American science fiction action film [3] written by brothers Jim and John Thomas, directed by Stephen Hopkins, and starring Danny Glover, Gary Busey, Rubén Blades, María Conchita Alonso, Bill Paxton, and Kevin Peter Hall.
The Predator franchise depicts a series of deadly encounters between humanity and a hostile, trophy-hunting extraterrestrial species known as the Yautja.Predominantly transpiring in the present day of the 20th and 21st century, the series comprises films that, while largely independent, portray human confrontations with Yautjas in different locations.
In the novelisation of Predator 2 (1990), Dutch is revealed to have been spoken to by Agent Peter Keyes of the OWLF as he was infirmed in a hospital, suffering from radiation sickness from how close he had been to the Yautja's explosion at the conclusion of Predator.
