Dầu Tiếng is a rural district of Bình Dương province in the Southeast region of Vietnam. As of 2003, the district had a population of 92,592. [1] The district covers an area of 720 km 2.

The Michelin Rubber Plantation was a rubber plantation in Vietnam.It was located near Dầu Tiếng District in Bình Dương Province, 72 km northwest of Saigon.The plantation was established by the Michelin company in 1925 [1] and at 12,400 hectares (31,000 acres) it was the largest rubber plantation in Vietnam.
Nghĩa was then involved in a January 1964 coup, just three months later, against the military junta led by General Duong Van Minh that had toppled Diem. The plotters, led by General Nguyen Khanh, needed help from Nghĩa, one of the leading Đại Việt officers and temporary head of the Capital Armored Command.
