Dong Kingman (Chinese: 曾景文, 31 March 1911 – 12 May 2000) was a Chinese American artist and one of America's leading watercolor masters. As a painter on the forefront of the California Style School of painting, he was known for his urban and landscape paintings, as well as his graphic design work in the Hollywood film industry.
He also participated in the Panama–California Exposition in San Diego in 1916. The Coopers spent the winter of 1915–16 in Los Angeles. [4] This time in southern California was undoubtedly a key factor in Cooper's later decision to move there permanently. [8] His wife Emma died of tuberculosis on July 30, 1920. [26] [27]

Jacqui Morgan, (February 22, 1939 – July 3, 2013) born Jacquelynn Morganstern in New York, was an American illustrator, educator and watercolour painter. She became influential during the 1960s and 1970s with the youthful and psychedelic style of her illustrations.
Ejnar Hansen (1884 – September 26, 1965) was a Danish-born American portrait painter and art educator. [1] [2] His work is in the permanent collections of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and the Laguna Art Museum and is also held at the San Diego Museum of Art, Carnegie Art Museum (Oxnard, CA) and Brigham Young University Museum of Art.
