Between 1984 and 1989, Tamiya had its own mascot called Plastic Model Moko-chan, who has a rabbit sidekick called Rabbi-kun (プラモ, Puramo). Together, they were sometimes titled Moko-chan (and) Rabbi-kun (ja:プラモのモ子ちゃん, Puramo no Moko-chan).
