The 2023 World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship was held from April 22 to 29 at the Gangneung Curling Centre in Gangneung, South Korea. [1] The event was held alongside the 2023 World Senior Curling Championships. Korey Dropkin and Cory Thiesse defeated Chiaki Matsumura and Yasumasa Tanida 8-2 in the final to win the gold medal.

The championship featured sixteen teams, split into two pools of eight teams. From its creation in 2008 until 2019 the championship was open entry, meaning any World Curling Federation (WCF) member could send a team. With the popularity of curling, and specifically mixed doubles, growing this policy of open entry led to 48 teams participating in the 2019 championship, the final year of open entry.
