I have had problems with finding downloads on my ipad. I discovered that i need to download on iPhone first. Once I confirm it is in files on iPhone, then I go to Ipad and will see the link in Files under iCloud drive and i can activate download on ipad. So phone first then ipad. The reverse does not work.

Thanks for trying to help Lawrence. I don’t know all the details but I know that iCloud backs up as you go. I’ve had a number of phones while having the same iCloud storage. Regardless, I’m looking for a way to filter/sort the largest video files so I can review and delete those.
Cannot find airdrop file on my iphone airdropped a 7.41GB file from iMac to iPhone. I can see my iPhone storage went up by around 7GB. But I never found the files. They are uncompressed pictures and the format is tif. I’ve tried the search bar. But didn’t work. I would like to find it and delete it to save my storage.
If I understand correctly, you are unable to see the On My iPhone option in the Files app on your iPhone. If you haven't already, please force close the Files app and restart your device as iOS clears cached data and does other system optimizations when you turn your device off and on. My Files app icon has disappeared from both my iPad and from my iPhone XR. When I go to the App Store, it indicates I already have downloaded the app, and if I hit OPEN, the app opens, which isn’t convenient.
