Look over your Wells Fargo credit/debit accounts ASAP for fraudulent activity. Talk to Amazon CS Reps and WF Reps. Edit: Called up Wells a few moments ago and was able to explain the situation and was issued a new card.

So then I called WF and they reissued a new card. I thought that was the end of it until last Monday that I received a fraud alert from WF to my credit card again. This time for $16 also listed as Amazon Prime. I called WF and again they reissued a new card and just like last time they said they'd start an investigation.

Wells Fargo debit card, fraud claim denied? Advice. My debit card was charged multiple times through Eventbrite on Jan 6. They were 8 separate charges that totaled $398. Wells fargo is such a fraudulent organization theres a reason the government put an asset cap on them. They're a danger to their users, their a danger to the economy, and they're a danger to their share holders. I swear WF is the worst bank. Their fees are just as bad as anyone else’s.
They’re required to respond/provide an outcome within 10 business days if no temporary credit is given, if they provide one then they can extend the timeframe to 45 business days. However the timeframes double if it involves a debit card POS transaction.
If a new card is sent to you to replace your old card, it should not impact your credit. Also, maybe someone did a fraud charge and may have more of your personal information that could have been used to apply for new line of credit.
