Nguyen Van Quy (2 January 1925 – 27 January 2022) was a Vietnamese composer and musician. [1] He started as composer under the artist name Đỗ Quyên, and was later given the nicknames "Quỳ Sonate" and "Vietnamese Beethoven". He is known for having written nine sonatas for violin and piano, but also for several songs.
