Formed in 1967, the group originally consisted of guitarist and vocalist Donald "Buck Dharma" Roeser, bassist Andrew Winters, drummer Albert Bouchard, keyboardist and later rhythm guitarist and vocalist Allen Lanier, and rhythm guitarist John Wiesenthal.
