Roy Reiman was born May 16, 1934, and grew up on a farm near Auburn, Iowa. He graduated from Auburn High School in 1952. He worked in a creamery to pay for his college tuition. Reiman graduated from Iowa State University in 1957 with a degree in agricultural journalism. [2]
