Naruto Shippūden: Gekitō Ninja Taisen! EX 2 (NARUTO (ナルト) 疾風伝 激闘忍者大戦! EX 2, lit. Naruto Shippūden: Great Ninja Battle! EX 2) is the sixth installment of the Clash of Ninja series only for Japan. It was released on November 29, 2007. This is the first Naruto Shippūden game to feature Sasuke Uchiha as a playable character.
A powerful fox known as the Nine-Tails attacks Konoha, the hidden leaf village in the Land of Fire, one of the Five Great Shinobi Countries in the Ninja World. In response, the leader of Konoha and the Fourth Hokage, Minato Namikaze, at the cost of his life, seals the fox inside the body of his newborn son, Naruto Uzumaki, making him a host of the beast.
Like some other Naruto games in Japan, this one was available in two covers: one featuring Naruto Uzumaki along with several different characters in the background, and the other with Sasuke Uchiha and several other characters. The game was released on September 30, 2004, in Japan, June 12, 2007 in North America, and October 2007 in the PAL region.
