The Bayfront Parkway is a highway in Erie, Pennsylvania, in the United States, primarily running along the shore of Lake Erie's Presque Isle Bay.Carrying the state quadrant route designation of State Route 4034 (SR 4034), it continues as Interstate 79 (I-79) on the western end and the Bayfront Connector, part of Pennsylvania Route 290 (PA 290), on the eastern end.
The Bayfront Connector is a 5.34-mile (8.59 km), four-lane expressway that connects Interstate 90 to downtown Erie, Pennsylvania; it is continuous with Route 290 throughout its length. At the intersection of East 12th Street, the Bayfront Parkway becomes the Bayfront Connector and picks up the concurrency with Pennsylvania Route 290.
The Wintergreen Gorge Bridge is a 1,114-foot (340 m), steel, plate girder bridge that carries Pennsylvania Route 290 and the Bayfront Connector over Fourmile Creek and the Wintergreen Gorge in Harborcreek Township, Erie County in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania.
