Wake Young Women's Leadership Academy (WYWLA) is a public secondary school for girls in Raleigh, North Carolina. It is a part of Wake County Public School System. The school's current principal since 2022 is Dr. Mariah Walker. [1] [2] It has grades 6–12, with the Governor Morehead School's campus housing grades 6–10. [3]
The school is a member of the Young Women's Preparatory Network, which funds programs including leadership-building summer camps and on-campus college advising. [8] As part of the network, it maintains relationships with other institutions in the network, including sister school Ann Richards School for Young Women Leaders in Austin . [ 9 ]
The Young Women's Leadership School (TYWLS) are public secondary schools for grades 6–12 that are operated by Student Leadership Network. TYWLS provide a single-gender educational choice for students who are often the first in their families to attend college.
